P&D staff members are comfortable working with design firms, engineering firms, contractors and government agencies, and our familiarity with their procedures pays big dividends for our clients as we work through the requirements of each project. Our construction management support includes the following services associated with quality performance and value engineering:
- Property assessment prior to purchase to evaluate site acceptability, constructability and availability of site utilities
- Coordination of the design according to the owner’s standards, including selection of the Architect and Engineering (A/E) firm
- Development of the project scope, supervision of design, oversight of construction drawings, review of specifications and value engineering analysis
- Coordination of permitting activities with the A/E firm and with the appropriate jurisdictional agencies
- Coordination of the procurement process for pre-purchased equipment, and oversight for equipment specifications and delivery
- Coordination of construction subcontractors, including qualification, bidding and award
- Coordination of construction, including monitoring budget, schedule and quality of work
- Oversight for acceptance of purchased equipment, installation of equipment, punch list completion, testing, commissioning and close-out documentation
